The Sujiya-cho machiya is a large and very elegant merchant
mansion dating back to the late Meiji period. Since it was first built, Sujiya-cho has
been remodeled and extended multiple times. Recently, Sujiya-cho has been outfitted with modern conveniences and decorated with
antique Asian art. The ORIGIN Arts Dojo (Arts Practice Hall) and Iori's main
office,

Sujiyacho is outfitted with modern appliances and conveniences. It features both wooden floored bedrooms - one of the second floor, one on the third floor - and tatami rooms in which guests can be accommodated with futon bedding. There is a beautiful stone bath on the first floor and a conveniently located shower on the second floor. Wireless ADSL internet is accessible from anywhere in the house.
