At our Nishirokkaku-cho machiya combination of traditional machiya architecture with modern furniture
and impressive pan-Asian antique art creates a uniquely elegant and
contemporary atmosphere. The sunlight
coming through the mushiko-style
windows on the second floor illuminates a living room with deep, comfortable couches.
A beautifully remodeled machiya, Nishirokkaku-cho is outfitted with modern conveniences and appliances. A large garden can be viewed from the spacious tatami room on the first floor and a smaller rock garden can be illuminated and viewed while relaxing in the bath. Futon bedding can be laid out in the small tatami room on the second floor and in the tatami room overlooking the garden on the first floor. Nishirokkaku-cho is outfitted with ADSL internet access.
