Iori Machiya Ishifudono-cho
Ishifudono-cho is located deep in a narrow alleyway lined with other machiya. Its
cozy atmosphere is perfect for couples or close friends. Ishifudono-cho is our most recently
renovated machiya, with a comfortable living room and a cedar wood furo bath.
Facilities
Ishifudono-cho has a wide entrance that leads into a tatami matted living room. In the kitchen you can still find the old stone well next to the modern appliances. The small tsuboniwa garden can be illuminated at night and viewed from the living room and the bath. Futon bedding for up to two guests is laid out on the tatami on the second floor. The machiya is outfitted with ASDL wireless internet access.
