The Minoya-cho townhouse has roughly twice the width of river frontage than our other two riverfront properties, Zaimoku-cho and Izumiya-cho. Large sliding glass doors run the complete width of both the 1st and 2nd floors, providing full benefit of this remarkable view. With ample space, a hinokicedar bath overlooking the Kamoriver on the 1st floor and a spacious shower room on the 2nd floor, this house is excellent for groups or families that require a larger home.

Located on restaurant lined Kiyamachi street, the Minoya-cho townhouse is just a short walk to the Miyagawa-cho or Gion geisha districts across the river, not to mention the lively downtown Shijo-Kawaramachi shopping area or classy Ponto-cho street.
Take a walk along the river at dawn and enjoy the fresh morning breeze and thriving birdlife. One would be hard-pressed to find a better location to base their explorations of Kyoto from.
